Hello! I’m Turnmeika Smith

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10+ years of experience as a practicing therapist. I graduated from Shorter University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health. I chose to become a Therapist because I have a strong desire to provide a safe spot for others who don’t always feel safe. 

 

Pursuing my passion has allowed me to gain experience working with clients within private practice, in-home, and outpatient settings. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples to solve many presenting problems and diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, guilt, fear, shame, resentment, interpersonal issues, substance use, life transitions, and trauma (to name a few.) It is my goal at Impact Therapy to provide a space for my clients to self-identify, expand their knowledge, and become the best versions of themselves.
